Our Managing Partner, Rotimi Ogunyemi, who is also the chairman of the NBA-SBL ICT Committee, stated that the committee is pleased to have partnered with the Legal Business Network and Stakeholders in the Blockchain Technology Association of Nigeria (SiBAN) to organise the Legal Business Conference 2022.

The LBC is an annual event organised by the Network to educate and enlighten professionals on current legal and business issues, as well as to aid organisations, startups, and entrepreneurs in establishing legally protected businesses.

The Covid-19 pandemic, the introduction of blockchain technology, and the Central Bank of Nigeria’s recent unveiling of the eNaira have all highlighted a slew of legal issues and opportunities in the burgeoning blockchain and financial technology ecosystem.

LBC 2022’s theme is “Finding the Balance: Regulating Blockchain and FinTech Innovations.” LBC 2022 focused on blockchain technology and financial technology innovations, as well as how regulators can balance innovation and regulation.
